Ministries of the NAZ

Nursery – Led by Hanna Samuelson & Gretchen Richison

Nursery is offered during first and second service for children who are newborn to three years of age.

First Impressions – Led by Nathan Carpenter

Our First Impressions team helps to create a warm and welcoming environment for our church family and their guests.  They handle scheduling for the Communion Servers, Ushers, etc.

Youth Sunday School

Sunday School is offered for kids who are in Kindergarten through 5th grade during first service.

Adult Community Groups – Facilitated by Pastor Lisa Aparicio

There are currently several community groups who meet regularly during the week.  This is a great way to begin to dig deeper into God’s Word together, share in each other’s triumphs and to have lots of fun!

Hispanic Ministries – Led by Pastor Samuel Aparicio

Our church has committed to learning how to bridge the gap between cultures in and around our church, outreaching to the Hispanic population in Cass County and celebrating the God’s love for all of His children.

Special Needs – Facilitated by Dave Kauffman

This is an outreach ministry to those individuals who need assistance getting to church or attending Sunday School.

Pre-School Sunday School \ Wee Church – Facilitated by Rachelle Salmons

The Sunday School class is offered during first service. Wee Church is held during second service. Both programs are offered to children who are potty-trained through pre-K.

Kids Matter Ministries – Led by Pastor Amy Byerley

A ministry that focuses on kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade.

All Things Worship – Led by Rachel Maxwell and Scott Ricker

This team oversees the worship aspect of each service from music to media.

Office | Administration – Led by David Bridgers, Superintendent of Church Operations

This team keeps momentum moving during the week, from answering phones, receiving packages, updating the bulletin, etc.

Facility | Maintenance – Led by Rhonda Coulter

This group plans “All Church Work Days” to make sure the church grounds are in good shape.

Cross Eyed Ministries

Focuses on high school aged kids and teaching them the love and freedom of a life serving others as Christ as an example.

Missions – Led by Jody Thompson

Spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. We are looking for people to support missionaries with the World Evangelism Fund and to support or be part of World Missions trips.

Aaron’s House – Led by Clorisa Bridgers, Director

This is a maternity home ministry which will offer temporary housing to girls aged 12-19 who are facing an unplanned pregnancy.

Heritage Preschool – Led by Rachelle Salmons, Director

This ministry provides an educational resource for children ages 3-5 in a Christ-centered atmosphere.
